Operating on brain tumors lying in the centre of the cranial cavity has always been a challenge. The use of Transcallosal approach has lead to excellent results at my centre at Omar Hospital. Recent cases of a third ventricle tumours managed through this approach lead to complete excision without any deficits and rapid recovery.
